How to Use Etcher?

Using Etcher to create a bootable Linux USB is simple and straightforward. Here are the steps to follow:

Step 1: Download and Install Etcher

The first step is to download and install Etcher. You can download the latest version of Etcher from its official website. Once downloaded, double-click the installer file to install the application.

Step 2: Choose the ISO File

After installing Etcher, launch the application. You will be presented with the main window of the application. Click on the "Select image" button and choose the ISO file that you want to write to the USB drive.

Step 3: Choose the USB Drive

Next, choose the USB drive that you want to write the ISO file to. Etcher will automatically detect the connected USB drives. If you have multiple USB drives connected, ensure that you select the correct one

Step 4: Flash the Disk Image

Once you have chosen the ISO file and the USB drive, click on the "Flash!" button to start the flashing process. Etcher will show you the progress of the flashing process, and once it is complete, you will see a "Flash Complete!" message.

Step 5: Eject the USB Drive

After the flashing process is complete, eject the USB drive safely from your computer. You can now use this USB drive to boot your computer and install the operating system.
